Graham Borg is a 39 year old senior property advisor based at Alliance Pender branch in St. Julians, who began working in real estate at just seventeen years of age. “Maybe I inherited a knack for business from my dad or else I learnt a lot from observing him working while I was growing up.”, Graham explains, as he describes how he had opened his own café and then an Irish pub at the very beginning of his working life.

“Now I have been actively speculating and helping clients invest their money in property for over 17 years”, he continues.

Whilst some property advisors aspire for young couples realising their romantic dreams of owning a home and living together, Graham is the sort of real estate person that is more intent on achieving returns on investments (ROI) and maximising profits for his investor clients. “I specialise in sites and properties that can maximise their potential as I feel I’ve have evolved a very good eye for these kinds of opportunities”, he explains.
Asked about his most memorable sale, Graham recounts the story of his very first sale in 2003. “Maybe you would think it’s cliché to say this, but my most memorable sale was actually my very first one”, he explains. “I remember it was a first-time buyer to whom I had sold an apartment in Attard and you can imagine my excitement, I was over the moon.”, he continues. “The cherry on the cake came a few years later, when he asked me to re-sell this same apartment and I closed a sale that almost doubled his initial investment.”. This is what good investments in Malta’s real estate look like and we know for certain that many property advisors identify with this experience.

Living in Attard, Graham is an ex-triathlete who still loves running, keeping fit and also sailing, amongst several other pastimes.

“Everyday I do something different, meet new people and help people buy their biggest investment of their lives”, Graham says about his day-to-day experience as an Alliance property advisor. He dislikes unmotivated vendors as they are wasting everyone’s time and causing potential buyers stress when seemingly reasonable offers are rejected for without reasonable consideration. Asked about his best advice to buyers, Graham replies with a simple one liner “The best time to buy property is yesterday”.
